Job Description
Axon is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join their Real Time Operations team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This role involves developing and maintaining automation frameworks to improve product quality and performance. Axon is on a mission to Protect Life, focusing on safety and justice issues with its devices and cloud software. The Real Time Operations team is creating Axon Respond, a platform for collaboration in public safety.

The role involves:
  • Implementing and owning processes for testing designated team products and automated testing efforts.
  • Working with engineers to execute end-to-end, API, and performance testing.
  • Delivering solutions that can be quickly adapted to changing scenarios.
  • Driving software development process toward quality-centric methodologies.
  • Implementing tools/dashboards for automated reporting on quality metrics.

Requirements:
  • At least 4 years of experience in software testing.
  • Solid programming skills and flexibility with a variety of frameworks.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate directly with colleagues in US.
  • Hands-on experience with one of the programming language (Typescript/Javascript, Java, Python, Scala).
  • Hands-on experience with API testing like RESTful/RestAssured, Web-socket protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one of the automation framework (Playwright, Selenium/Cucumber, K6/Gatling).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD like Jenkins or Teamcity.
  • Hands-on experience with .git and git repository.
  • Strong Linux/Unix/Mac experience.
