Job Description
Axon is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the Analytics strategy for Axon Records and Axon Standards. This role is pivotal in defining and delivering Axon’s end-to-end reporting and analytics vision, integrating multiple products into a cohesive data solution. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and develop innovative solutions for law enforcement analytics.
Role involves:
- Crafting a vision for scaling the Analytics solution to the entire market.
- Partnering with product design, user research, and engineering to make the vision a reality.
- Balancing scope, functionality, performance, and time-to-market with engineering teams.
- Generating creative solutions to technical, workflow, and business problems.
- Making data-driven decisions and using intuition when data is unavailable.
- Operating with autonomy and reducing ambiguity for the team.
- Setting performance metrics and working with the team to achieve them.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of software product experience, with at least 6 years in product management.
- Technical knowledge or experience with data visualization, business intelligence, and data analytics.
- Proven results driving revenue, engagement, and customer delight in Enterprise and/or Consumer environments.
- Experience envisioning, driving, and launching complex software products.
- Strong leadership presence and ability to question the status quo.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
