Job Description
Teza is seeking a Systems Engineer to manage and maintain its systems and storage infrastructure. The Systems Engineer will collaborate closely with the development and trading operations teams to ensure the smooth functioning of all systems and applications.
Role involves:
- Providing support for hardware and software.
- Provisioning laptops (Mac) and Linux servers.
- Supporting a global datacenter presence.
- Managing Teza’s server Linux and storage infrastructure.
- Automating manual operational processes.
- Monitoring system performance.
- Troubleshooting technical issues.
- Implementing and maintaining security measures.
- Developing and maintaining documentation.
- Participating in on-call support rotation.
- Providing technical support to end-users.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in systems infrastructure operations or related field.
- Experience writing scripted automation tasks using bash, Perl, or Python.
- Great organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- Comfortable with Mac and Linux environments.
