About the RoleThe Site Reliability Engineer will partner cross-functionally across Engineering and other departments to solve customer-related issues. This role requires broad technical skills and effective communication to deliver solutions and drive customer success.
Responsibilities - Build tools to maximize customer success related to reliability, telemetry, performance, and scale.
- Manage technical triage of customer, product, and service-related incidents, including on-call duties.
- Perform data and statistical analysis to understand challenging data sets.
- Drive escalated technical issues and collaborate with relevant departments for remediation.
- Maintain a service stability and reliability mindset, focusing on alerting, monitoring, logging, and health checks.
- Close the loop on every case and apply a 5 Whys approach to identify larger issues.
- Deliver short, medium, and long-term solutions individually and as part of a team.
- Communicate technical details with stakeholders to improve products, infrastructure, and services.
- Continuously learn and improve.
Requirements - Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience and/or Computer Science (or equivalent) Bachelor's degree.
- Scripting, development, and SQL experience.
- Command line and IDE expertise.
- Extremely effective communication skills.
- Proactive, pragmatic, multi-threaded problem solver.
- Ferociously curious, humble, present, learning mindset.
- Cloud technology experience.
- Experience in a HW company is a plus!
