Job Description
NMI is seeking a Web Developer with expertise in WordPress and Zendesk. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining digital platforms while ensuring seamless integration, functionality, and user experience. This role is crucial in driving the company's online presence and delivering exceptional user support experiences.
Role involves:
- Developing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites.
- Implementing and configuring Zendesk.
- Collaborating with design and marketing teams.
- Troubleshooting website performance issues.
- Integrating third-party APIs and tools.
- Conducting regular updates, backups, and security checks.
- Optimizing SEO performance.
- Monitoring and reporting on website analytics.
- Staying updated on the latest trends and technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience developing and managing WordPress websites.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Hands-on experience with Zendesk configuration and workflow customization.
- Familiarity with web hosting platforms, domain management, and SSL setup.
- Proficiency with SEO best practices and tools.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
