Web Developer (WordPress)

Job Description

NMI is seeking a Web Developer with WordPress and Zendesk expertise. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining digital platforms to ensure seamless integration and user experience. The Web Developer will collaborate with design and marketing teams to translate ideas into responsive web pages, troubleshoot website performance issues, and integrate third-party APIs.

• Developing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites.
• Implementing and configuring Zendesk.
• Collaborating with design and marketing teams.
• Troubleshooting website performance issues.
• Integrating third-party APIs.
• Conducting regular updates and security checks.
• Optimizing SEO performance.
• Monitoring website analytics.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
• Experience developing and managing WordPress websites.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with Zendesk configuration.
• Familiarity with web hosting platforms and SSL setup.
• Proficiency with SEO best practices and tools.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

The role offers:

• Annual salary of R270,000 - R480,000 + bonus
• 15 days holiday + 12 public holidays each year (+ 1 day after each year of service with up to a max. of 20 days)
