Software Engineer at XTX Markets

XTX Markets is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Yerevan, Armenia office. The candidate will be responsible for automating the tasks done by Quantitative Researchers. This role requires a background in developing robust, scalable code to ensure the reliability of the firm's research components. The Software Engineer will collaborate with Quantitative Researchers to develop diverse software solutions.

Role Involves:

• Automating workflows for researchers, streamlining, and testing new models.
• Organising and supporting production code, checking dependencies, and handling data issues.
• Developing ETL processes to manage a wide range of data.
• Writing unit and integration tests.
• Contributing to research libraries (mostly C++).
• Code review (C++ and Python).

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer in a leading firm with Python as a main language.
• A history of high academic achievement in Computer Science or a related field.
• Competency in C++.
• Ability to write Python libraries that would be used by quants.
• Understanding of the operational aspects of a business-critical system.
• Ability to proactively identify problems and improve workflow.
• Experience implementing software workflows in an agile environment.
• At least intermediate level of both English and Russian.
