Job Description
Veeam, the #1 global market leader in data resilience, is seeking an Application Security Engineer to join their growing team of experts for their SaaS platform in Prague. The SaaS solutions are built on Microsoft Azure, offering best-in-class Data Protection services. This role involves integrating security throughout all steps of the SDLC, automating the deployments and maintenance of a SaaS Application Security program and platform, and working with engineering teams to build upon Secure SDLC deployments. The Application Security Engineer will continuously evaluate and improve the reliability, security, and compliance of Veeam's systems and code, proactively meeting standards for information security and compliance.
The role involves:
- Integrating security throughout all steps of the SDLC
- Automating deployments and maintenance of a SaaS Application Security program
- Working with engineering teams to build upon Secure SDLC deployments
- Continuous evaluation and improvement of system reliability, security, and compliance
- Defining, documenting, and improving internal security and resiliency standards
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience implementing secure design principles within a modern SDLC framework
- Experience supporting the security and compliance of Engineering and SRE teams
- Deep understanding of Software Development practices and standards
- Experience with Security and Compliance Native and Off-the-Shelf toolsets
- Experience managing Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools
- English proficiency
