Job Description

Veeam, a global leader in data resilience, is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join their expanding team of experts for their SaaS platform. This role is based in Prague, Czechia. The company's SaaS solutions are built on Microsoft Azure, offering top-tier data protection services.

The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for securing and hardening Veeam's SaaS application platform, ensuring it meets established service levels. This involves integrating security into CI/CD pipelines, responding to security incidents, and proactively meeting information security and compliance standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Secure design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure.
  • Automation around securing and hardening an efficient SaaS application platform.
  • Integrations of Security into CI/CD pipelines with a Shift Left mentality.
  • Continuous evaluation and improvement of system reliability, security, and compliance.
  • Responding to relevant Security Incident and Events throughout the platform.
  • Defining, documenting, and improving internal standards for style and maintainability.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience supporting security and compliance of production operations for a SaaS or cloud service provider.
  • Experience with Security and Compliance Native and Off-the-Shelf toolsets.
  • Experience managing Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in distributed, multi-cloud environments.
  • Experience with container orchestration platforms (AKS, ACA, K8s).
  • Experience in programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, Go, etc.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and tools (Azure DevOps or similar).
  • Experience with distributed, event-based messaging architectures.
  • English proficiency for communication with international teams.
