AE Studio, a development, data science, and design studio, is seeking a Data Scientist to join their team. The company works closely with founders and executives to create custom software and machine-learning solutions. AE Studio focuses on increasing human agency while maintaining a fun culture.

The Data Scientist will have the opportunity to work on client projects and contribute to AI alignment research. The role involves utilizing problem-solving skills, self-management, and a sense of humor.

Responsibilities:

• Work on client projects.
• Contribute to AI alignment research.

Requirements:

• Fluency in Python.
• Proven data science experience.
• Comfort with the statistics and methods deployed in classification problems.
• Familiarity with NLP/NLU.
• Experience calling machine learning APIs via REST or client libraries.
• Agile experience (Kanban, Scrum, Extreme Programming).
• Growth mindset.
• Willingness to learn their systems.
• Full-time availability.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently/autonomously.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work exclusively in English.
