Data Scientist at AE Studio

AE Studio, a development, data science, and design studio based in California, is seeking a Data Scientist to join their team. The role can be based remotely or from their Florianópolis office. The company collaborates with founders and executives to create custom software and machine learning solutions, working with startups and major corporations such as Samsung and Berkshire Hathaway. AE Studio has a strong presence in brain computer interface (BCI) R&D and AI alignment.

What this role involves:

• Working on client projects and AI alignment research
• Using Python for various projects
• Working with machine learning APIs via REST or client libraries
• Applying agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, Extreme Programming)

Requirements:

• Fluency in Python
• Proven data science experience
• Familiarity with statistics and methods used in classification problems
• Familiarity with NLP/NLU
• Experience calling machine learning APIs via REST or client libraries
• Agile experience
• Full-time availability
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English
