Aetion is seeking a highly motivated Senior Product Designer to contribute to the design of user-friendly and innovative features and applications. This role involves close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including product managers, engineers, scientists, and business partners. The Senior Product Designer will be responsible for the entire design process, from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring the creation of impactful healthcare data analytics products. The company headquartered in the US has expanded throughout Europe with a Research and Development Hub in Barcelona.Responsibilities include:
- Conducting brainstorming sessions with stakeholders
- Measuring the impact of user experience throughout the design process
- Creating user flows, journey maps, and service blueprints
- Designing and prototyping information architecture solutions
- Managing multiple projects across various applications and features
- Contributing to the design culture at Aetion
- Building and managing the Aetion component library in partnership with Engineering
Requirements include:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a product designer
- Self-starter with 2+ years experience working in startups
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Factors, User Experience Design, HCI, Information Science, or related discipline
- Strong skills in interaction design, user experience, and visual design
- Proficiency with wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Axure)
- Extensive experience in user-centered design
- Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Online or PDF portfolio
- Familiarity with working in agile teams
