DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Minitab is seeking a DevOps Engineer to develop and maintain its infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for innovation. This role involves driving the technology that supports Minitab's mission of empowering businesses worldwide to make better, data-driven decisions.Responsibilities include:

• Designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
• Maintaining and supporting environments critical to product development.
• Participating in an on-call rotation.
• Managing and executing change requests.
• Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related issues.
• Communicating status updates.
• Participating in code reviews.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Staying up to date with emerging tools and technologies.
• Continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Understanding of infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in scripting languages and configuration management tools.
• Experience with containerization technologies and orchestration tools.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
