Job Description
Praxent is seeking a LATAM Senior Software Engineer with expertise in React and Go to join their remote team. Praxent is a company that helps clients modernize outdated customer-facing software applications. The Senior Software Engineer will enhance the team's capacity to deliver assigned stories, cultivate camaraderie, deliver value, increase velocity, guide development, demonstrate expertise, and expand frameworks.
The role involves:
- Ensuring the team understands acceptance criteria.
- Tracking daily progress.
- Delivering stories as assigned.
- Finding opportunities to increase capacity and velocity.
- Planning and delegating technical work for other developers.
- Anticipating how to deliver value for the client via efficiency and tech debt prevention.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of professional experience in relevant technology and projects.
- Strong experience in Go backend development.
- Proficiency in microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and database management.
- Experience in building interactive user interfaces using React, React.JS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience presenting to client stakeholders.
- Experience with coaching and mentoring.
