Job Description
Ocado Group is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead product thinking for a strategically significant area of their technology platform. This role is based in Hatfield and offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring 2 days in the office. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert, supporting multiple product teams to shape the future of their products through data-driven insights, understanding customer needs, and closely following market evolution. They will collaborate with engineering and data architects to build solutions that provide meaningful business value.

Role Involves:
  • Supporting the development of product strategy.
  • Owning the overall product architecture within the domain.
  • Collaborating with Engineering Leaders and Architects.
  • Supporting product teams in shaping goals aligned to business targets.
  • Leading communication and strategy for product initiatives.
  • Providing focus for product managers and supporting them in finding valuable solutions.

Requirements:
  • Relevant industry experience or technology business.
  • Deep understanding of product management and product leadership.
  • Extensive experience in building and launching successful products with software/hardware engineering teams.
  • Ability to communicate confidently with senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional storytelling ability.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, coaching & mentoring skills.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
