Job Description

Sony Music Entertainment Korea Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Distribution to strategically manage partnerships and drive music release opportunities. This role involves leading end-to-end distribution strategy, team operations, and external collaborations to achieve impactful results in Korea. The Senior Manager will be a core member of the Distribution team.Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic partnerships with local labels and distributors.
• Drive release acquisition planning and negotiate distribution opportunities.
• Oversee content registration and operational quality management.
• Supervise team structure, performance, and cross-functional alignment.
• Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders and global headquarters.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience with local distribution or label management companies in Korea.
• In-depth knowledge of music copyright, royalties, and licensing.
• Excellent multitasking, problem-solving, and resource management skills.
• Strong leadership and accountability mindset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Korean and English.
• Passion for music and understanding of the distribution landscape.
