Senior Manager - Risk and Governance

Job Description

BVNK, a company providing payment infrastructure for businesses, is seeking a Senior Manager for Risk and Governance. This role involves implementing and embedding risk management and governance frameworks within the company. The Senior Manager will report to the VP of Risk and Governance and provide support and guidance to business functions globally. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and embedding risk and governance frameworks, ensuring regulatory requirements are met, and fostering a risk-aware culture across the business.Responsibilities:

• Developing risk appetite and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
• Facilitating risk and control assessments and conducting risk reviews.
• Conducting control assurance activities.
• Overseeing incident reporting and remediation.
• Leading contingency planning practices.
• Providing advice and guidance on risk and control matters.
• Supporting change initiatives and product development.
• Managing the governance of Committees and Forums.
• Working with the Company Secretary to enhance the governance of regulated entities.
• Managing the policy governance framework.

Requirements:

• Experience in developing and embedding risk management frameworks.
• Experience in developing and embedding governance frameworks.
• Exposure to different regulatory frameworks around the globe (desired, not essential).
• Experience in the global payments and/or crypto market (desired, not essential).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-starter and problem-solver.
• Passionate about improving operational efficiency.
• Collaborative team player.
• Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.
