Cleo is seeking a Frontend React/React Native Engineer to join their team and contribute to their mission of improving the world's financial health. The engineer will work within a cross-functional product squad, collaborating with frontend engineers, designers, UX writers, backend engineers, and data analysts to develop user-centric features. Cleo offers a unique opportunity to work on impactful projects, with a focus on building amazing user experiences within the Cleo app.

The role involves actively participating in product ideation sessions, user research calls, design reviews, retrospectives, ways of working sessions, product demos, and OKR reviews, shaping not just the technical aspects, but also the overall direction and success of the team.

What this role involves:

  • Developing features that improve users’ financial health
  • Building experiences for users using React Native application
  • Writing automated tests
  • Using AB-Tests and feature flags
  • Using data to dig into user journeys and optimise the Cleo experience
  • Participating in weekly app releases to the Apple and Google app stores
  • Getting involved in cross-cutting concerns

Requirements:

  • Strong industry experience of using React Native / React with TypeScript for a minimum of 2+ years
  • Experience in building mobile apps or a passion for moving into the mobile app space.
