PhonePe Group is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to expand its presence in South Gujarat. PhonePe is India’s leading digital payments company. The company has 50 crore registered users and 3.7 crore merchants across India. PhonePe has expanded into financial services and tech-enabled businesses. The Territory Sales Manager will play a key role in driving market share of PhonePe in offline business. He will manage a team of 8-10 Business Development Executives and report to the Area Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow merchant network by driving acquisition and servicing.
  • Drive quality in execution by audits and review mechanisms.
  • Meet merchants to present products and manage escalations.
  • Monitor competition within assigned territory.
  • Ensure brand visibility in assigned territory.
  • Facilitate hiring of Business Development Executives.
  • Onboard and provide on-the-job-training to the front line sales team.
  • Monitor KPIs and coach team members.

Requirements:

  • MBA from Tier 2/3 campus with good academic record.
  • 2 - 4 years in sales managing sales team.
  • Experience in Telecom, FMCG, Retail are highly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sales/customer service focus.
  • Field sales experience with proven track record of increasing sales and revenue.
