Job Description
PhonePe is seeking a Manager for Technology Risk & Compliance to join their team in Bangalore. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful execution of the company's compliance mission. The Technology Risk and Compliance team is responsible for developing and maintaining a strong compliance culture by identifying, measuring, and monitoring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Role involves:
- Reviewing PhonePe products, processes, and environment from a security and regulatory compliance perspective.
- Conducting due diligence on new and existing technology implementations across business units.
- Providing support to internal departments in complying with regulatory bodies (RBI, NPCI, SEBI, IRDAI, UIDAI).
- Collaborating with product/business/engineering teams to implement compliance plans.
- Creating control frameworks and conducting gap assessments against security practices and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
- 7 to 9 years of relevant work experience.
- B. Tech degree.
- Prior people management experience.
- Strong understanding of ITGC domains and business processes.
- Experience in managing audits and implementing cyber security controls (NIST, PCI DSS, ISMS etc.).
- Certifications such as ISO 27001 / CISA / CISM / CISSP preferred.
- High ethical standards and analytical mind.
- Ability to plan and execute projects with minimal management support.
