Job Description
Buynomics is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their Machine Learning Applications Team. The ideal candidate will develop and enhance advanced end-to-end machine learning solutions that provide insights into shopper behavior. This role involves collaborating with Data Scientists and Engineers to design and implement efficient systems that drive business value.
Responsibilities:
- Lead working streams by driving decision making regarding technical designs and coordinating development efforts
- Drive efficient and agile development of machine learning models
- Facilitate timely delivery by resolving blockers and aligning short term and tactical decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to ensure seamless integration of machine learning solutions into core processes, with a focus on aligning with front-end and UI requirements
- Deliver high-quality, reliable code and clear documentation to support collaboration and long-term maintainability across teams
- Provide mentorship and guidance to help grow our team of passionate machine learning engineers and modellers
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience building end-to-end machine learning solutions, ideally in a SaaS environment
- Proven ability to design scalable, maintainable, and production-ready ML systems
- Hands on experience with efficient, parallel ETL pipelines and cloud-based data processing
- Strong programming skills in Python and hands-on experience with ML libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and Pydantic
- Ability to translate complex business problems—especially in RGM contexts—into effective technical solutions
- Attention to detail and quality, with a strong inclination toward clarity and simplicity in solutions
- Strong collaboration skills, with experience working closely with both Data Scientists and Engineers
- Excellent communication skills in English
