Job Description
Planet is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their team in Berlin. Planet is a company focused on using space to help life on Earth. They design, build, and operate the largest constellation of imaging satellites in history, providing data to various sectors through a cloud-based platform.
The IT Support Engineer will manage and support the IT needs of employees across multiple regions, focusing on device lifecycle management, user support, and videoconferencing solutions. The role involves working closely with the IT team to ensure seamless operations across all office locations and providing a top-notch digital experience for employees.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of devices.
- Provide advanced support for employees using Windows and MacOS operating systems.
- Support and maintain office videoconferencing solutions.
- Handle onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
- Design, implement, and refine IT processes.
- Collaborate with the IT team to provide high-quality support.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in IT support.
- Proficiency in managing Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Experience with Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Jamf, NinjaOne, Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence), or similar systems.
- Solid knowledge of videoconferencing solutions (Polycom, Zoom).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in reading, speaking and writing in English.
