Job Description
CopilotIQ+Biofourmis is seeking an Integrations Technical Lead to spearhead EMR integrations. The Integrations Technical Lead will collaborate with healthcare system customers and internal teams to deliver EHR integrations with CopilotIQ+Biofourmis platform. This role involves working with engineering, data, customer success, finance, sales, partnerships, and product management teams. The Integrations Technical Lead will engage with technical leaders to implement integrations and align on scope for integration professional services.Responsibilities include:
- Defining EMR integration project deliverables.
- Translating clinical workflows and EHR requirements into project plans.
- Presenting integration capabilities to prospects and customers.
- Developing project plans with scope, objectives, and timelines.
- Providing support for testing, QA, and go-live for customers.
- Ensuring EHR integrations comply with healthcare regulations like HIPAA.
- Collaborating with teams to define customer-facing artifacts and integration architecture.
- Participating in design reviews and supporting interoperability architecture management.
- Establishing and reviewing enterprise interoperability models.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- 5+ years of deploying EMR integrations with FHIR and HL7.
- 5+ years experience with healthcare EHRs like Epic, Cerner, and Athena.
- 2+ years of experience in leading EMR integrations.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Deep knowledge of Healthcare interoperability standards protocols, HL7 v2.x, FHIR, etc.
- Certification/proven experience using Hl7 interface engines. Mirth is preferred.
- Current or previous Epic Certification (Bridges, InterConnect, App Orchard, other)
- Hands-on coding experience with HL7 and FHIR standards.
- SMART on FHIR application experience is a plus
- Deeply familiar with clinical standards such as (SNOMED, LOINC, ICD, etc) and a variety of HL7 message types (ADTs, ORUs, ORMs,DFTs, etc)
