Mortgage Loan Officer

Orchard Mortgage, an affiliate of Orchard, is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to provide mortgage services to Orchard's real estate customers. The ideal candidate will build relationships with Orchard Agents and customers, securing their future loan business through unique services. This role involves consulting with clients, collaborating with real estate agents, and managing a pipeline of loans.

The Mortgage Loan Officer will be the go-to person for home financing needs, including expertise on the Equity Advance loan and Move First offering. They will work collaboratively with teams across the Orchard ecosystem to provide the best customer outcomes.

This is a remote position based in the Greater Denver area, with occasional attendance at agent networking events.

Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients about current needs and financing solutions.
• Build relationships with Orchard’s real estate agents.
• Be the expert on the Equity Advance loan and Move First offering.
• Close a high percentage of captive leads and manage a pipeline of 10-15 loans per month.
• Work collaboratively with other teams across the Orchard ecosystem.
• Support weekend coverage once per month.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of lending experience with an active NMLS license or registration (Colorado required).
• Strong consultative sales skills.
• Passion for customer service and relationship building.
• Deep knowledge of guidelines pertaining to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA.
• Technology savvy with experience with Blend and Byte (or similar systems) preferred.
