Mortgage Loan Officer

Job Description

Orchard is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to join Orchard Mortgage, an affiliate of Orchard, dedicated to providing mortgage services to real estate customers. The Mortgage Loan Officer will build relationships with Orchard agents and customers, offering financing solutions and managing a pipeline of loans. This is a remote position based in the Greater DFW area, requiring attendance at monthly agent networking events.Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients on financing solutions, including Orchard Mortgage’s Equity Advance loan.
• Build relationships with Orchard real estate agents.
• Serve as the go-to person for home financing needs.
• Close a high percentage of leads and manage a pipeline of 10-15 loans per month.
• Collaborate with teams across Real Estate and Title Operations.
• Support weekend coverage once per month.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of lending experience.
• Active NMLS license or registration (Texas required).
• Strong consultative sales skills.
• Passion for customer service and relationship building.
• Deep knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA guidelines.
• Technology savvy, with preference for experience with Blend and Byte.
