Mortgage Loan Officer

Job Description

Orchard is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to join Orchard Mortgage, an affiliate of Orchard, dedicated to providing mortgage services to real estate customers. The Mortgage Loan Officer will consult with clients, build relationships with Orchard's real estate agents, and manage a pipeline of loans. This is a remote position based in the Houston area, requiring attendance at agent networking events.

• Consulting with clients about financing solutions
• Building relationships with Orchard’s real estate agents
• Managing a pipeline of 10-15 loans per month
• Collaborating with other teams across the Orchard ecosystem
• Providing weekend coverage once per month

Requirements:

• At least 3+ years of lending experience
• Active NMLS license or registered (Texas required)
• Strong consultative sales skills
• Passion for customer service and relationship building
• Deep knowledge of guidelines pertaining to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA
• Technology savvy with the ability to learn and work with new systems
