Job Description
Orchard is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to join Orchard Mortgage, an affiliate of Orchard, dedicated to providing mortgage services to real estate customers. This role involves building relationships with Orchard agents and customers, consulting on financing solutions, and managing a pipeline of loans. The ideal candidate will be based in the San Antonio Metro area and available for monthly agent networking events.

Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients about current needs and financing solutions.
- Build relationships with Orchard’s real estate agents.
- Be the go-to person for all home financing related needs.
- Close a high percentage of captive leads and manage pipeline of at least 10-15 loans per month.
- Work collaboratively with other teams across the Orchard ecosystem.
- Support weekend coverage once per month.
Requirements:
- At least 3+ years experience with lending experience and an active NMLS license or registered (Texas required)
- Strong consultative sales skills.
- A passion for customer service and relationship building.
- Deep knowledge of guidelines pertaining to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA.
- Technology savvy with the ability to learn and work with new systems.
