Content Author Lead

Job Description

Critical Mass is seeking a Content Author Lead to join their team in San Jose. The Content Author Lead will consult on the feasibility of creative designs, coordinate content launches, provide technical guidance, perform peer reviews, develop technical documentation, and contribute to the team and project. This role involves close collaboration with clients, developers, system administrators, project managers, business analysts, and end users.

The role involves:

• Debugging and troubleshooting complex issues
• Owning content release activities
• Mentoring and enforcing guidelines
• Coordinating technical communication
• Gathering user and business requirements
• Presenting to clients
• Ensuring clear documentation
• Creating training programs
• Participating in Capability activities and initiatives
• Participating in the interview process

Requirements:

• Advanced English level (B2+)
• 6+ years of experience with content management systems (AEM, Sitecore, TeamSite)
• Work experience with AEM
• Proficiency with data transfer formats (JSON, XML, HTTP)
• Solid knowledge of Front-End technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
• Experience implementing SEO guidelines
• Experience troubleshooting web platform issues
• Knowledge of recent development patterns (Mobile First, MVC)
• BS in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in Digital Agencies, Web development, and SCRUM/Agile projects
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience configuring tools (Webpack, Gulp, SASS, LESS)
• Experience implementing automation using AI tools
