Front End Developer (Emails and Banners)

Job Description

Critical Mass is seeking a Front-End Developer to complete front-end tasks and support web applications. The Front-End Developer will work independently on basic tasks, owning the design and programming. For complex work, they will use existing designs and seek guidance from senior team members. The role involves providing progress updates and task estimates.

• Translating graphic designs into HTML and CSS
• Implementing data exchange between application layers via AJAX
• Collaborating with Creative, Business, Technology, and QA teams
• Translating graphical designs and wireframes into styled markup code
• Implementing technical solutions following best practices
• Debugging issues in existing web applications
• Providing feedback on policies and procedures
• Coaching and supporting other team members
• Maintaining clear documentation
• Troubleshooting complex issues and providing root cause analysis

Requirements:

• Intermediate-advanced English Proficiency (B2+ reading, writing, and conversation)
• 2+ years of experience with Front-End technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
• Experience with Cross-browser and Responsive development
• Knowledge of recent development practices (Mobile First, MVC, Object-Oriented development)
• Basic experience with JavaScript frameworks and cross-browser compatibility
• Work experience with automation and pre-processing tools (e.g., Gulp, SASS)
• Experience integrating web solutions with external web services
• Knowledge of pre-processed CSS styling (SASS, LESS)
• Fluency with data transfer formats and protocols (e.g., JSON, XML, HTTP)
• Experience with version control systems (GIT)
• Experience building proof of concept prototypes
• Experience integrating web solutions based on a Content Management System
• Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and doing root cause analysis of web applications issues
• Experience consuming, parsing, and translating SOAP or REST web services
• BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience writing code compliant with modern accessibility and SEO guidelines
• Previous experience in pharmacy accounts, Digital Agencies projects, Web development projects, SCRUM/Agile software projects
• Knowledge of design patterns and working with mainstream libraries and frameworks (jQuery, React, VueJS, or any other)
