Engineering Manager

Job Description

Digibee is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the development and maintenance of its microservices-based core integration engine. The Engineering Manager will provide technical and managerial leadership, driving innovation and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role involves leading a team of engineers, mentoring them, and managing performance. The Engineering Manager will also oversee end-to-end deployment pipelines and foster a culture of operational excellence.Role involves:

• Leading the development and maintenance of the microservices-based core integration engine.
• Extending engine capabilities through the development of connectors, triggers, and other add-ons.
• Proposing technical hypotheses and driving R&D efforts.
• Ensuring proper architecture for a highly distributed system.
• Participating in code reviews and discussions.
• Optimizing application performance.
• Overseeing end-to-end deployment pipelines.
• Leading and mentoring a team of engineers.
• Managing budget allocation for the teams.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with React, Java, Kubernetes, and other related technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a knack for technical innovation.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience in managing people.
• Experience with high-performance and high-throughput applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in English.
