Cleo is seeking a Product Engineer specializing in Ruby to join their team. Cleo is described as a fast-growing unicorn company focused on changing humanity’s relationship with money. This role involves joining a cross-functional product squad to develop features for enhancing users' financial health, collaborating with peers, mentoring colleagues, and working on their Ruby on Rails monolith.
The Product Engineer will use agile methodologies, contribute to engineering improvements, and participate in product ideation. The tech stack includes Ruby on Rails, React Native with TypeScript, Python for machine learning, and PostgreSQL on AWS.
Responsibilities:
- Developing features to enhance users' financial health
- Collaborating with engineers, designers, and analysts
- Mentoring colleagues and supporting their development
- Building data models, APIs, and business logic
- Using agile methodologies and tools
- Contributing to cross-cutting engineering concerns
- Participating in product ideation, user research, and design reviews
