Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a Team Lead, Account Executive to lead a pod of Account Executives and drive initiatives. The Team Lead will report to the Sales Managers and be responsible for helping the team reach their goals. Lightspeed's AEs are responsible for achieving revenue growth by bringing on net-new businesses.Responsibilities:
  • Motivate individuals and team to exceed objectives through training and continuous coaching.
  • Train current employees and new hires on processes, sales skills, and technical knowledge.
  • Collaborate and maintain communications with leadership from other departments.
  • Report on pipeline metrics and other organizational tasks to the leadership team.
  • Identify problem areas/challenges within your pods verticals and formulate strategies to overcome them.
  • Work with the Retail leadership team to develop new strategies to increase sales volume and efficiency.
  • Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by leadership.
Requirements:
  • Relevant sales experience in a B2B environment.
  • 1-2 years of coaching experience is a plus.
  • Strong desire to be in technology sales leadership, and a strong technical aptitude.
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills.
  • Strong understanding of business development best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to thrive in a competitive, dynamic and quota-driven environment.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Open availability.
