Moniepoint, a fast-growing financial services platform in Africa, is seeking a Field Credit Officer for Abia State. This role involves onboarding and managing businesses accessing Moniepoint's credit products, growing the loan portfolio, and ensuring timely loan repayments. The Field Credit Officer plays a crucial role in assessing businesses during credit applications and monitoring their performance using innovative tools. They are responsible for gathering information related to the 5Cs of credit, with a focus on capacity, character, and capital, and making recommendations to management regarding loan disbursement and related actions.
Responsibilities: - Identify and onboard viable businesses to open accounts.
- Engage customers to encourage account usage for credit qualification.
- Review and approve or decline loan requests through thorough data analysis.
- Conduct physical visits to evaluate business operations.
- Meet loan portfolio and profit targets.
- Monitor active loan portfolios and repayment performance.
- Perform other credit-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements: - Minimum of an OND in a business-related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience with credit products in a financial institution.
- Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis.
- Good knowledge of financial analysis (advantage).
- Must be a resident of Abia State.
