Moniepoint is seeking a Field Credit Officer for Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria. The Field Credit Officer will be responsible for onboarding and managing businesses that access Moniepoint's credit products. The ideal candidate will grow the loan portfolio while maintaining profitability by ensuring timely loan repayments. This role involves assessing businesses during credit applications and utilizing innovative tools to monitor their performance throughout the loan period.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and onboard viable businesses within the assigned geographical area.
  • Engage customers to ensure optimal usage of accounts.
  • Review and approve (or decline) loan requests.
  • Conduct physical visits to potential borrowers’ business places.
  • Meet gross loan portfolio and profit targets.
  • Monitor active loan portfolio.
  • Perform other credit-related functions.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of an OND in any business-related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales role for credit products in a financial institution.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis.
  • Good knowledge of financial analysis (added advantage).
  • Must be a resident in Akwa-Ibom.
