Job Description
Moniepoint, a fast-growing financial services platform in Africa, is seeking a Field Credit Officer for its Cross River location. This role involves onboarding and managing businesses for credit products, growing the loan portfolio, and ensuring timely loan repayments. The Field Credit Officer will assess businesses during credit applications, monitor their performance, and make recommendations to management.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify and onboard viable businesses for Moniepoint accounts.
  • Engage customers to encourage account usage for credit qualification.
  • Review and approve or decline loan requests based on data analysis.
  • Conduct physical visits to evaluate business books, inventory, and turnover.
  • Meet loan portfolio and profit targets by maintaining a healthy customer base and ensuring loan performance.
  • Perform other credit-related functions as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of an OND in a business-related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience with credit products in a financial institution.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis.
  • Good understanding of financial analysis (added advantage).
  • Must be a resident in Cross River State.
