Moniepoint, a fast-growing financial services platform in Africa, is seeking a Field Credit Officer for their Enugu location. This role involves onboarding and managing businesses accessing Moniepoint's credit products. The Field Credit Officer will play a crucial role in assessing businesses during credit applications, utilizing innovative tools to monitor performance, and ensuring loan repayments. They will also analyze various information sources, focusing on the 5Cs of credit, and provide recommendations to management.
Responsibilities: - Identify and onboard viable businesses.
- Engage customers to encourage account usage.
- Review and approve or decline loan requests.
- Conduct physical visits to evaluate businesses.
- Meet loan portfolio and profit targets.
- Monitor active loan portfolio and repayment performance.
Requirements: - Minimum of OND in a business-related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience with credit products in a financial institution.
- Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis.
- Good knowledge of financial analysis (advantage).
- Must be a resident of Enugu.
