Job Description

A Field Credit Officer is needed in Kaduna, Nigeria. This role with Moniepoint involves onboarding and managing businesses accessing credit products. The Field Credit Officer will grow the loan portfolio and maintain profitability by ensuring timely loan repayments. They will assess businesses during credit applications and use innovative tools to monitor performance.

The Field Credit Officer will also make recommendations to management regarding loan disbursement, considering economic factors.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and onboard viable businesses.
  • Engage customers to ensure optimal account usage.
  • Review and approve or decline loan requests.
  • Visit potential borrowers' businesses for evaluation.
  • Meet gross loan portfolio and profit targets.
  • Monitor active loan portfolio.
  • Perform other credit-related functions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of an OND in a business-related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience with credit products in a financial institution.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis.
  • Good knowledge of financial analysis (added advantage).
  • Must be a resident in Kaduna.
