Job Description
Moniepoint, a leading African financial ecosystem, is seeking a Field Credit Officer for their Kano State location. This role involves onboarding and managing businesses accessing Moniepoint's credit products, growing the loan portfolio, and ensuring timely loan repayments. The Field Credit Officer plays a crucial role in assessing businesses during credit applications and monitoring their performance throughout the loan period.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and onboard viable businesses for Moniepoint accounts.
  • Engage customers to encourage account usage for credit qualification.
  • Review and approve or decline loan requests based on thorough data analysis.
  • Conduct physical visits to evaluate business operations, inventory, and turnover.
  • Meet loan portfolio and profit targets by maintaining a healthy customer base and ensuring loan performance.
  • Perform credit-related functions as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of OND in a business-related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience with credit products in a financial institution.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis.
  • Good knowledge of financial analysis (added advantage).
  • Must be a resident of Kano.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Agility and perseverance
