Job Description

Moniepoint is seeking a Field Credit Officer to join their team in Ogun State, Nigeria. The Field Credit Officer will be responsible for onboarding and managing businesses that would access Moniepoint's credit products. He/She will play a vital role in the assessment of these businesses during their credit application and leverage upon innovative tools to help monitor their performance during the course of the loan.

The role involves:

  • Identifying and onboarding viable businesses within assigned geographical area.
  • Engaging customers to ensure optimal usage of accounts.
  • Reviewing and approving (or declining) loan requests.
  • Visiting potential borrowers’ business places for evaluation.
  • Meeting gross loan portfolio and profit targets.
  • Monitoring active loan portfolio.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of an OND in any business related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a sales role for credit products in a financial institution.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis.
  • A good knowledge of financial analysis is an added advantage.
  • Must be resident in Ogun state in the following local governments - Ado-Odo/Ota, Egbado North, Egbado South, Ifo, Ijebu East, Ijebu North, Ijebu North East, Ijebu Ode, Ogun Waterside, Shagamu, Ikenne, Odogbolu, Remo North.
  • Apt attention to details.
  • Proven simple/complex analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Agility and perseverance.
