Field Credit Officer (Ondo)

Job Description

Moniepoint, a fast-growing financial services platform in Africa, is seeking a Field Credit Officer for its Ondo location. This role involves onboarding and managing businesses accessing Moniepoint's credit products. The Field Credit Officer will play a crucial role in assessing businesses during credit applications, monitoring their performance, and ensuring loan repayments. They will also make recommendations to management, considering various economic factors.Responsibilities include:

• Identifying and onboarding viable businesses.
• Engaging customers to ensure optimal account usage.
• Reviewing and approving loan requests.
• Conducting physical business visitations.
• Meeting loan portfolio and profit targets.
• Monitoring active loan portfolios.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of OND in a business-related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in credit products.
• Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis.
• Good knowledge of financial analysis (advantage).
• Must be resident in Ondo.
