Job Description

Moniepoint, a fast-growing financial services platform in Africa, is seeking a Field Credit Officer for its Plateau location. This role involves onboarding and managing businesses accessing Moniepoint's credit products, growing the loan portfolio, and ensuring timely loan repayments. The Field Credit Officer will play a crucial role in assessing businesses during credit applications and monitoring their performance throughout the loan period.Role involves:

• Identifying and onboarding viable businesses.
• Engaging customers to encourage account usage.
• Reviewing and approving loan requests.
• Conducting physical business evaluations.
• Meeting loan portfolio and profit targets.
• Monitoring active loan portfolios.
• Performing credit-related tasks.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an OND in a business-related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience with credit products in a financial institution.
• Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis.
• Good knowledge of financial analysis (advantage).
• Must be a resident of Plateau.
• Apt attention to details
• Proven simple/complex analytical skills
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Agility and perseverance
