Job Description
Moniepoint, a fast-growing financial services platform in Africa, is seeking a Field Credit Officer for Taraba State. This role involves onboarding and managing businesses accessing Moniepoint's credit products. The Field Credit Officer will play a crucial role in assessing businesses during credit applications and monitoring their performance throughout the loan period. They will also make recommendations to management regarding loan disbursements, considering various economic factors.Responsibilities:
  • Identify and onboard viable businesses to open accounts with Moniepoint.
  • Engage customers to ensure optimal account usage for credit qualification.
  • Review and approve or decline loan requests through thorough data analysis.
  • Conduct physical visits to potential borrowers' businesses for evaluation.
  • Meet gross loan portfolio and profit targets by maintaining a healthy loan customer base.
  • Monitor active loan portfolio to ensure continued account use and loan repayment.
  • Perform other credit-related functions as assigned.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of an OND in any business-related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales role for credit products in a financial institution.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis.
  • Good knowledge of financial analysis is an added advantage.
  • Must be resident in Taraba.
