Job Description
Moniepoint, a fast-growing financial services platform in Africa, is seeking a Field Credit Officer for its Yobe State location in Nigeria. This role involves onboarding and managing businesses accessing Moniepoint's credit products. The Field Credit Officer will grow the loan portfolio, ensure timely loan repayments, assess credit applications, and monitor loan performance. They will also make recommendations to management, considering various economic factors.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and onboard viable businesses.
  • Engage customers to ensure optimal account usage.
  • Review and approve loan requests.
  • Conduct physical business visitations for evaluation.
  • Meet loan portfolio and profit targets.
  • Monitor active loan portfolio.
  • Perform other credit-related functions.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of an OND in a business-related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience with credit products in a financial institution.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis.
  • Good knowledge of financial analysis (added advantage).
  • Must be a resident of Yobe.
