Finance Manager (Controlling)

Job Description

Butternut is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for key controlling and reporting activities, with a focus on cost efficiency and control environment. This role involves working within the plant leadership team and collaborating with stakeholders across the business and Capital Group. The Finance Manager will report to the Head of Finance EU.

• Gain a deep understanding of the business and operations processes.
• Prepare and analyze weekly and periodic finance reports and KPIs.
• Propose cost efficiency initiatives.
• Participate in annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
• Execute data collection and completeness checks.
• Support the Plant Director with additional calculations and analyses.
• Cooperate with other Teams within the Company.

• Has at least 5 years of experience in Finance, including at least 3 years as a Finance Controller / Manager in a manufacturing company.
• Has a deep practical knowledge of Excel (Google Sheets as a nice to have).
• Has a very good knowledge of English and fluency in Polish.
• Experience in working with the SAP B1 financial and accounting system is welcome.
• Is well organised and works independently.
• Has an analytical mindset with an ability to draw relevant conclusions.
• Is growth-oriented and able to propose flexible solutions well adapted to changing environment.
• Is able to challenge other team members to improve processes and increase cost effectiveness of the Company.
