Job Description
Backbase is seeking a Delivery Director to drive the regional delivery strategy for their Hub in Toronto. The Delivery Director will work with RVPs of Customer Success, Technology, and Sales to ensure strategic customer success. They will foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and managing implementation and delivery plans using Agile.
- Collaborating with technical teams.
- Establishing strategies for effective planning, budgeting, and execution.
- Financial, client, change, and risk management.
- Providing product information and advising clients.
- Driving difficult conversations to influence strategy and scope.
- People management, coaching, and mentorship.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of professional experience.
- Strong hands-on software implementation experience.
- Expert-level understanding of Agile methodology.
- Experience managing a department and external clients.
- Experience developing and executing onboarding/training plans.
- Knowledge of Google Workspace, Jira, and Confluence.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- 6+ years of experience in Financial Services and/or Banking is a plus.
