Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Description

INFOnline, a saas.group company, is seeking a Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer to modernize its infrastructure and prepare for a cloud migration. The role involves stabilizing legacy systems, building CI/CD pipelines, and contributing to cloud provider selection. The candidate will work with a team undergoing significant change, with the opportunity to shape the technical direction.

Role involves:

• Understanding the current system landscape.
• Stabilizing and modernizing the on-prem infrastructure.
• Collaborating to build CI/CD pipelines and automate processes.
• Contributing to cloud provider selection and future-state architecture.
• Leading and supporting the migration of systems to the cloud.
• Ensuring proper knowledge transfer and documentation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform).
• Solid experience in DevOps, system administration, and infrastructure optimization.
• Strong Python (2 and 3) skills, along with some experience in other languages (PHP, JavaScript, Go).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, especially Jenkins.
• Familiarity with SQL databases (MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis), and streaming technologies (Kafka).
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments.
• A fearless mindset and excellent communication skills.
