Job Description
The Financial Times (FT) is seeking a People Advisor to play a key role in shaping and delivering its people strategy. The People Advisor will act as a trusted partner to business leaders, offering proactive, strategic, and operational HR support in a collaborative and fast-paced digital environment.
The role involves:
- Building strong relationships with business leaders and managers.
- Providing expert guidance on employee relations matters.
- Advising and coaching managers on HR best practices.
- Reviewing and implementing updates to HR policies and procedures.
- Supporting and implementing talent management initiatives.
- Analyzing key HR metrics and people data.
- Leading and supporting global HR projects.
- Building strong external relationships with HR peers.
Requirements:
- Graduate of BS Psychology, Human Resources, or any related field.
- HR Generalist experience.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Credible and influential communicator.
- Expertise in employee relations.
- Solid understanding of employment laws.
- Tech-savvy with experience using HR systems and digital tools.
- High level of confidentiality, sensitivity, and diplomacy.
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Suite.
- Collaborative and inclusive approach.
- Proactive, "can-do" attitude.
- Experience in APAC HR practices or multi-regional HR exposure (desirable).
- Familiarity with Workday or other HRIS systems (desirable).
