Job Description
Recorded Future is seeking a Threat Intelligence Analyst to join its Cyber Assessments and Trends (CAT) team. The analyst will be responsible for producing high-quality cyber threat intelligence for clients, focusing on ad hoc intelligence requests. This involves researching and analyzing a broad spectrum of cyber threat activity, from new attacks to patterns in malware development.

The analyst will engage with clients throughout the report lifecycle, from initial scoping to delivery and follow-up support. They will also develop novel processes for research and analysis and collaborate on projects across multiple research teams.

Responsibilities include:
  • Producing and reviewing finished intelligence reports
  • Engaging with clients across the report lifecycle
  • Developing novel, automated processes for research and analysis
  • Working on projects across multiple research teams


Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a threat intelligence analyst or similar
  • BA/BS or MA/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
  • Strong writing ability
  • Experience researching and analyzing cyber threats across multiple industries or timeframes
  • Practical experience using threat intelligence analysis models (MITRE ATT&CK, Diamond Model, Cyber Kill Chain)
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Familiarity with cyber threat intelligence tools (DomainTools, VirusTotal, SHODAN, etc.)
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Javascript, etc.)
