Backend Engineer at Galaxy

Galaxy is seeking a talented Back-End Software Engineer to join its global engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting back-end services. They will work with languages such as Java (Spring Boot, Vert.x) or Python (Flask, FastAPI).

The role involves:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reliable back-end systems.
• Collaborating with globally distributed cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Optimizing and improving existing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Automating business workflows to increase operational and capital efficiency.
• Troubleshooting and resolving production issues in a timely manner.

Requirements include:

• 2-5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on back-end development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python and/or other languages used for back-end development.
• Experience with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and ORM frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Interest in Cryptocurrency and building the future.
• Fluent in English.
