Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

TaxBit is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and implement software solutions for users and clients. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for building modern solutions to complex problems, partnering with designers and product managers, writing well-designed and tested code, participating in code reviews, and solving problems end-to-end across various systems.Role involves:

• Building modern solutions to complex problems.
• Partnering with designers and product managers.
• Writing well-designed, well-tested, readable, and maintainable code.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of professional programming experience building cloud applications and services.
• Experience building scalable distributed system architecture, APIs, and modern web frontends.
• Passionate about code quality, continuous delivery, automated testing, and incident response.
• Ability to work in an agile environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong coding skills in Typescript NodeJS/React and/or Python.
• Experience with cloud storage solutions (SQL, Blob, Document, Search).
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, DataDog, and GitHub CI/CD.
• Experience with big data technologies like Spark/Iceberg/Hive/Kafka/Presto etc.
• Familiarity and interest in the emerging and evolving Web3 space.
